This project was done for a transportation design studio, and was completely aesthetics driven. For the project an art movement had to be distilled to an aesthetic message, which would then be applied to a product. In this case, I used "totem poles", which became the aesthetic of "ominous quirk". I then applied that aesthetic to a reel lawn mower, mainly because the idea of that product is inherently ominously quirky.
