3rd year 3rd sem : HERITAGE STUDIES : MASJID PANGLIMA KINTA, IPOH, PERAK

INTRODUCTION

The AAR3302 Heritage Studies course is a core subject that introduces students to the understanding and practice of researching and documenting (which include measuring, surveying and re-drawing) heritage buildings of the Muslim World. The program is intended for the graduating students of the Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) (Architectural Studies) to be conducted specifically in the 3rd semester of their third and graduating year before proceeding to the Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) programme. The study of AAR3302- Heritage Studies is divided into to two parts:
i) An educational trip and fieldwork (12 – 14 days)
ii) Documentation of building under study and presentation of findings (7 weeks)
