When its boils down to its core Art is simply another way of seeing. This work stems from how I see bricks as not just a part of some structure but as each individual piece helping build each other piece. So in this Art work I used symbolism to join two infinitely recognizable images into one. Until it was no longer just a brick nor could it be categorized as a lego block but the elements of both were present. I could have combined them to construct something but that underscores what legos and bricks represent which is a sea of endless possibilities which is what I want to impart in to the viewer so when He/She looks at my art they are reminded of how everything seemed possible when we were younger. As I want to break away from the preconceived notions society has forced on me and help others do the same.
