In the previous years the space housed the MoMA prototype collection that the Institute housed. We sensed a necessity to inspire and motivate students showcasing the amazing work the Institute produced in its early years. So we set off on trying to tell the story of the first two decades of NID education.
What was crucial to this project was the CONTENT GENERATION. This task was almost formidable due to lack of cultivated archives and documents. . These are some of the mug shots after we hunt some of the work down, thanks to some of the earlier documents by H K Vyas, D Patel, R. K. Banerjee and M P Ranjan.
As time was extremely limited and constraints more, the display cases were all retrieved from previous exhibitions and made to suit our needs.
These display cases(almost as old as the objects) matched our theme but the display space had to be manipulated for more appealing display,
