A few screen shots from the film. This scene was to be set in an expensive restaurant. That was what we were working towards, with of course an extremely minimal budget and a million other constraints.
A washroom to go with the restaurant. The huge mirrors made all the cheats twice as hard to pull off.
Doodles while trying to understand what the requirement of the space was according to the script and then optimizing the space to create the right illusion of space.
we decided renders would be the best way to convey our design to the film students so my group mate Arpit, and I Made the renders for the washroom set.

Production Design

In a group,my peers from Exhibition Design did the production for "Frikin' Diamonds", a movie made by the Film and Video students of our batch. We were responsible for the Set design while the film students developed the story and script.
This was an interesting encounter with space as it was the first time I was dealing with space for a screen, which I realized in the process, was very different from what I have always been doing.
