Pastiche Bed, 4 Poster - Handmade to order and featured at Design Within Reach's M+D+F show for emerging Texas furniture designers, Austin,TX 2008. The posters of this bed are made from hundreds small pieces of re-purposed hardwood scraps such as American black walnut and cherry, as well as some exotic woods like teak, padauk and ebony. They are laminated together to create a wooden mosaic. The head board and frame is made from quarter-sawn white oak and American black walnut.
