Stacked, A Lamp Project.

Stacked, the lamp was the result of a studio project in my Sophomore year at Georgia Tech. I was given the task of creating an unique lamp with only half a sheet of 1/4" thick plywood and access to our Digital Fabrication Lab. The lamp was designed using Solidworks then cut out with a CNC Router. After being cut into the sheet I hand cut the "onion skin" and removed it from the sheet. Completing the lamp I then hand sanded each piece and assembled the lamp. The lamp is customizable in that you can remove, replace, and reorder the wooden slats that it's compromised of.
