Challenge:
A successful open online experiment looking at social digital currencies via this scenario:
"We are envisioning a new world where today’s aging, less useful and even dangerous financial systems are replaced by or mixed with more disruptive innovations and exchanges. Imagine yourself deprived of all of today’s financial resources. Maybe you’re a refugee or stateless. Yet you still have your smartphone, Internet and a mobile data connection…"
Strategy: We gained valuable external insight from key online influencers around the topic of social digital currencies, as well as created a participatory design methodology for use in future projects (i.e.Corporate Responsibility's website: http://futureagenda.org).
Results: The learnings were presented and published as part of the European Commission's 5th International FTA Conference (https://ec.europa.eu/jrc/sites/jrcsh/files/fta2014-t2practice_128.pdf)
