The Ancient Greeks - This is potential signage/banner design for The Ancient Greek exhibition at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA.
The World Without Us book cover - This is a book about the process of earth returning back to its natural state if humans were to disappear or go extinct. It describes in detail how buildings would decay, what would happen to our cities and suburbs, what would last for centuries and what would disappear rather quickly. This is a picture of gears from collapsed machinery inside an abandoned factory.
The Old Neighborhood book cover / poster - The Old Neighborhood is a book about the controversial topic of "white flight" from the cities into the suburbs during the 1950's, 60's, and 70's and how communities were developed and changed by it.
Campaigh to Sustain Poster (AIGA Design Competition) - This competition was about getting the message across about being sustainable and living a sustainable lifestyle. I designed this when gas was at its peak at around $4.25 for low test. I used all of my old gas receipts which I keep to illustrate how many times we get gas if we drive and how it really is not environmentally sustainable or responsible to use as much oil as we do.
"The Brick" Design Matters Competition - This poster competition was about the importance of design of everyday products and how much they affect our lives. I designed mine around the mobile phone because of how important it is to people and how it has changed since it was released in 1983. The plaque in the poster explains in better detail. Tired - This is part of an animal cracker series I did. The photos for the most part are not edited in Photoshop. I used wax to make them stand up.

Teamwork - The Animal Crackers in this piece are surprisingly not edited in Photoshop. The wax that I used lasted about a minute before they all fell over, but I was able to get some good shots of them before that.
2000 Census Voter Representation Chart - This chart illustrates the representation that voters receive by population relative to the number of electoral votes the state gets. It shows how states with smaller populations are over-represented when selecting a president, while states with larger populations are underrepresented.
