This was one of the three paintings shown in the Dia de los Muertos show at the Poco Wine Room in Seattle last year. Here the two skulls face each other over a bed of blooming roses. I meant this as a commentary on the fleeting joys of life, which like the roses are so bright now, but will soon fade. Life should be lived for every moment, while you still have it to enjoy.
