After some brainstorming with mood boards and sketches, I created a 3D CAD model and routed the panels with the Shaper Origin.

My UX designer roommate said that we need to let the birds know it is a house for them. After a discussion of deciding what language to use (Chinese, English or Spanish), I came up with the idea to simply use a bird's silhouette, which unarguably is the most international.
