Rise, the English learning company, wanted a star sculpture to display in their national competition. They required the star to be 3D printed, matched with the five themes of the competition which were: art, education, health, social and transportation. The size is around 20 cubic inches. Since the sculpture would be travelling from one location to the other, it also had to be easily transported.
The dodecahedral was 3D printed with one open face for the installation of the light bulb. Each of the horn was assembled by five laser-cut panels.
