Airport Landscape Design Proposal in Wakatobi, Indonesia
While I was working with the United Cities and Local Governance in Asia Pacific (UCLG ASAPC), an organisation that connects worldwide local and city governments together, Mr. Hugua the mayor of Wakatobi asked to design the landscape of their new airport in Wanci, Wakatobi, Indonesia. I enjoyed this project because not only did this take me back in my studies in architecture but I had the opportunity to explore around the concept of their culture heritage and identity. Due to the limit of time, I proposed several concept proposals within different areas of the airport, the first stepping stone to be further developed by the people and government.
