Batting Mode - This projects represents a collaboration with CCS student Ed Cox. Ed did the concept design, early development and breadboarding on this product. I followed through by modeling the product in ProE, SFX, costing and mentoring. I would not hesitate to recommend Ed for any Product Designer posistion & and tremendously enjoyed working with him on this project. Here the toy is in batting mode, the balls are soft foam to keep preschoolers safe.

Pitching Mode - The 3 in 1 Baseball Trainer is the first preschool baseball toy to teach the 3 fundementals of baseball: pitching, catching, and hitting. Here we see a young player pitching.
Catching Mode - Here the toy throws the ball back to the player, after the pitch, so he can practice catching. This function can run in a continous cycle to build up the pitching/catching skill set, or times out if no balls are in the hopper.
Easy Score Basketball - This project was a team effort with Richard Friend, who did a lot of sketch, prototyping and packout development on this project. This redesign accomplished a 40% cube reduction with the additional feature of an automatic ball return, while reducing product cost and increasing overall sustainability.
