This project showcases the 2011 run of Think: Budapest, a large-format independent "Budapest Living" monthly. Operating during a period of increasing political pressure, the magazine was designed to be a "catalogue of trendiness masquerading as deep thought."
As publisher and lead designer, I oversaw a 12-issue cycle that balanced high-fidelity fashion aesthetics with subtle, subversive social commentary. The visual identity relied on striking, conceptual photography and a clean, rhythmic typographic system. Despite a successful year of distribution, production was halted due to the challenging political climate and targeted harassment from the state regime. This portfolio stands as a complete archive of that defiant one-year run, representing a masterclass in independent, large-format editorial production.
