Lego Man Rapid Prototype Project - In this project, I reversed engineered a Lego man using SolidWorks. The finished 3D model was sent to MSOE and created on their Z-Corp rapid prototype machine. The parts were made individually and then sent back to be assembled by myself.

Lego Man Start to Finish
In this project, I reversed engineered a Lego man using SolidWorks. The parts were scaled up to three times the actual size. The finished 3D model was sent to MSOE and created on their Z-Corp rapid prototype machine. The parts were printed individually and sent back to me for finishing. Each part was brought to a finished master level of quality. The parts were then molded using platinum based silicone. After the masters were removed, urethane was used to cast the parts. Custom colors were made to replicate Lego colors. Final fitting and finishing was done by hand.
