Makers Cafe

This was a brief from the first semester of second year. The aim of this brief was to design an element of cutlery or crockery for a cafe in London. The cafe is on Camden street in London and the idea is that designers and creative thinkers can go there to eat, drink or socialise whilst getting your designs 3D printed. The idea is to have a range of of cutlery or crockery that the customer easily adjust or personalise in the shop to be printed there and then. There are issues with the materials available for 3D printing due to them not being food safe. In order to overcome this, I decided that the cafe could provide a set of standardised mugs and glasses which can then be held by the 3D printed personalised sleeve.
