The M&S children dessert is both an educational toy and functional piece of packaging. There are four different desserts flavours which looks like its in four different unique packages, this is made possible through four different lid moulds and graphics sleeves. Graphic was inspired by wild animals skin patterns like: tiger, giraffe, zebra and leopard. Tiger cup has an orange flavour, giraffe has pineapple, leopard has banana and zebra is vanilla.
Each of cups has plastic moulded lid with the animal track on so children can play and mach it after the dessert is finished. Each animal pattern on cup is printed from two colours and with different transparencies. The simple graphic is visually attractive for children and encourages children to collect all the animals patterns.
The packaging has stackable qualities like that of bricks. This makes it easy for logistical systems i.e. through distribution and transportation. This also helps from a retail merchandising experience, providing a strong shelf presence.
