The Standard Chair - Scale 1:5
This project required the student to develop a 1:5 scale Hi-Fi prototype of a classic chair design and is aimed to improve technical drawing and modelling skills. I choose the Standard Chair made designed by Jean Prouvé in the 1930s in Switserland. The chair's perceived simplicity and neutral colour and material choice drew my immediate attention.
