NIKE SHOX - Inspired by the notion of "running on springs" and drawing upon technology solutions from external industries, I developed a revolutionary cushioning system based on independent microcellular foam springs.
NIKE SHOX is the market-dominating cushioning system available in virtually all Nike footwear lines. Demand for NIKE SHOX has resulted in sales in excess of $500m since its introduction in 2000.
NIKE FOAMPOSITE - Inspired by "foam in place" technology used in automotive seating and packaging applications, I developed a unique system that allowed the entire article of footwear to be molded as a complete unit.
Nike Foamposite was an immediate market sensation when introduced in 1997. Since the initial product launch, Foamposite technology has developed into an entire line of "posite" products with sales exceeding $250m.
NIKEiD.COM - Since its inception in 1999, NIKE's innovative customization service has led the market for customization and become a cornerstone of NIKE's personalization efforts.
Responsibilities included directing product customization strategy, branding, consumer interface, and marketing efforts to support the creation of this new Nike brand.
NIKEiD @ Retail - Integrated the highly successful NIKEiD online customization experience into a traditional bricks and mortar environment. The solution provided a positive impact on the store's P&L as well as provided consumers with a seamless shopping experience.
