A Different Kind of Toy Story:
20”x16” Oil on birch. Painted in the glazing technique. I wanted to pose the familiar toys in a way they are not usually seen to create a story for the viewer.
Glass Still Life:
18”x24” Oil on canvas. Painted with a palette knife. I chose a subject that needed to be described precisely when working with the palette knife. I was interested in the numerous different shapes and colors within the glass.
GameBoy:
11”x14” Oil on birch. I wanted to convey the color and transparency of the device and stay true to its iconic design.
