Brochure - Adeza - This brochure communicates a leading cause of preterm birth, and how a certain product can detect it. With this knowledge, measures can be taken to ensure the baby's safety. A specifically-designed color palette and custom illustrations are used to evoke comfort to the expecting parents during a difficult time. This wine label design makes use of a digital illustration of a charbono grape cluster. Originally from France, these grapes are now grown in California as well. This particular vineyard is located in Calistoga, CA, which is part of Napa County. The label itself was designed using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Androcles and the Lion - This piece (inspired by one of Aesop's Fables) was painted using gouache. It is one of my first pieces to employ a lighting technique that later became part of my style. The light source is totally unnatural - the figures are illuminated by the point of interest itself. In this case, the light comes from the thorn being removed from the lion's paw.
