This is an illustrator for illustrations section. Mechanicals and other things are also done in illustrator you can see in other sections. The styles and applications are very different. The takeaway for you is; if you don't see what you need, I can probably do it.
This project is in the illustration section for its character development. the project itself is an exploration that is intended to include plates, cups and napkins for baby showers. Competitive analysis is explored noting trends in colors and themes (next image) which is the main purpose of the project.
This is a snap shot of the project presentation. It shows different competitive choices for color and theme to draw inspiration from.
These stroller drawings are for the box faces and directions that come with the product.
This is a highchair that breaks down into a smaller chair. At right is a sampling of the directions with more line drawings. Images also serve as the packaging artwork.
These are informational drawings. The illustrator often uses too many colors. The production person needs to fix it. It's to have one person doing both. The drawings are tints of 2 spot colors in the 3 color package.
This image reveals some behind the scenes complexity of making the illustration. The style is nice for it's longevity. Retro will alway be retro. It's not for everyone, but what is?
Ubisoft makes FPS games (first person shooter for you non-nerds). This retro motorcycle poster is used in the subway as your avatar runs through the game. The motorcycle is an Indian. I changed it to "Chief". For copyright reasons they thought it was still to close to Indian... so they changed it to "Iriqois". I prefer my CHIEF lettering so the samples are different.
