These designs represent our present society in its obsession with speed and things instant. Most especially in the cities, people seem to always be in some sort of a race, as if in constant marathon with time.
During the so-called morning “rush hour”, you see career-driven individuals with coffee-filled paper cups in one hand, bag or smart phones in the other. People have suddenly become so busy that some of them have forgotten the beauty of sitting down on meals. With this picture in my mind, I’ve injected some satire in my collection, making jewelry that’s fusing the concept of busy people, food and fashion.
