Department of Veterans Affairs: Mental Health Outpatient Clinic
This Mental Health Outpatient Clinic takes on alternative techniques for a different approach to veteran healing. Artwork consists of tanks, guns, war ships, helicopters, and other dangerous military devises as a means to treat patients by putting it in their face to battle their PTSD reactions.
Lamps, trees, and other decorative accessories create a cozy and homelike atmosphere to make the patients more comfortable in their surrounding and more willing to share their feelings.
All frame finishes were selected to compliment the artwork & architectural detailing and furnishings. This is a space where “less is more” does not apply.
