When I begun footwear design, there was no actual direction. Inspiration came from shoe brands we grew up knowing; we tried to want to do stuff which will merit that class of shoes we saw. Software for rendering included Fireworks, then owned by Macromedia, now by Adobe. These capture almost 2 decades of work from when we started rendering our pencil sketches.
