“Design a bicycle pannier system that doesn’t compromise the bag’s use off the bike.”
Cycling is an increasingly popular activity here in the UK, with numbers of cyclists going up every year. This is a response to increasing transport costs and better education about health and the environment.
As a form of transport, the bicycle is perfectly suited for urban settings and many people use the bike to get to and from work.I started this project after intesnive research and investigation into what panniers were offering in direct competition with the backpack.
s a cyclist myself, I found that cycling with a backpack for longer journeys was particularly uncomfortable and left you hotter when you arrived
at your destination.
In a response to this, I created
a way to attach a standard style backpack to your bike, without the hard backed and heavy pannier-pack designs that currently existed.
