This piece was originally drawn out by hand using traditional pencil and paper, then scanned into Adobe Illustrator and redrawn in order to create a vector image. The character is meant to be a simple and easy to recognize character inspired by the holiday drink, a "Peppermint Mocha." The colors are obviously mean to represent a traditional, peppermint candy cane as well. The character brief required a child, between the ages of 8-12 with a bit of a mischievous side to her.
