Mass Media Chairs

The idea behind these life size graphic design chairs was to interact with the public while having a hidden statement. The four chairs were created to show that yes, this is a place to sit, but also a work of art. Covering the chairs in different types of print media that is found everyday life was to indicate that no matter where you look a graphic designer is part of many projects. The chairs were presented to allow the public to have a seat and be able to read a magazine, newspaper, junk mail, or even play their lottery. The hidden meaning was to show the public that no matter what they were reading a graphic designer had some part in the creation of some of their favorite things to read.
