competition design - Thread book is a revolutionary laptop (EeePC) which combines traditional Chinese Thread-bound and high technology. This design uses behavioral similarity to reduce the distance between human and digital production.
The surface merely contained ornamental binding lines and different textures with the same color, which not only shows the concept of simplicity and commercialization, but develops from the Chinese humanism.
ompetition design - Thread-bound book is a representative development on history of traditional book binding which dates back to Ming dynasty. It is totally made by hand that takes a lot of time .However, not only contained a simple surface, but also expressed humanism and sustainable that why it became a fashion.
In general, using it just like an ordinary laptop. Additionally, it can be separated into two parts -- screen and keyboard.
