Cardboard Chair Project - In groups we were asked to design a chair to support two people in a social way and could only use 3mx1m of corrugated cardboard and a few fastening pins to do so. Ours did eventually work.
Classic FM radio on a Bookshelf - This image shows the radio in its intended situation.
Classic FM radio being removed - The grooves on the sides and top allow for the radio to be pulled out like a book. I added a curved front base to it so that the radio could roll forward when pulled by the top.
My entry for the Grafikea Competition - The brief was to add value to an Ikea Lack coffee table. I chose a fresh green one and put test tubes in to create a simple vase. Depending on the quantity and orientation of the tables, various patterns can be created.
Point of Sale for Stella Artois - We were set a brief to design and make a point of sale display for a big brand but to aim it at a new market. I chose Stella Artois and 18-30 year old women. My PoS would be displayed in a bar to attract attention away from wine and spirits. Due to space being limited behind a bar I chose to make it functional as well so it has a bottle opener attached to the base and a small footprint.
Stella Artois Visual Reference - The brief was to create a point of sale display for a big company and then to aim it at a new market. This board shows the lifestyle, colours, patterns and styles i was aiming for with my new market so i could refer to it whilst designing the final POS.

UN Architecture and Design Project - A joint project between small groups of architecture and design students, to design a facilty for the UN to use that will benefit and improve the quality of life for people who have been the displaced through various disasters.
UN Architecture and Design Project - Our aim was to create a community feel, each family has a third of a hexagon which will contain two rooms, a living and sleeping area. These hexagons fit together to create enclosed and 'safe' areas. The tent would be simple to get into an area and is easily constructed with tension from a rope creating most of the shape.
UN Project Scenario Board - A board produced to show scenarios where aspects of the design would be important. These range from community social issues to the adverse weather and living conditions that follow these types of disasters.
Mockup of a Camp Using the Tents - This mockup shows how the tents can be arranged to provide a more social and at the same time, private way of living.
Mockup of the Tent Sections - This is a mockup of a section of one of the tents, a family would be givien this and as one third of a group they would build the entire dome. This helps build a sense of communtiy between what could be strangers. It was designed to be easy to assemble but also easy to transport to areas in need.
