Typographic Inspirations
The spoken word is a powerful and dynamic medium. This series of silkscreen posters illustrates typography to enforce their meanings and bring out another level of complexity and beauty. After collecting numerous interesting quotes I began sketching the ornaments, outer framework and letterforms which best represented each word. The completed sketches were then scanned and recreated digitally. Each limited edition poster is a 12" x 15" hand pulled silkscreen print on 16" x 20" uncoated 20pt SBS.
