2012 UEB Open House Design & Planning

I was tasked to conceive, plan, and manage a client open house celebrating the company’s seven successful years in business and launching the new brand. Original event concepts included: dynamic online invitation; guest book and sketching competition using white grease pencils on the floor-to-ceiling glass façade of the office space; company history and brand evolution timeline art exhibit; ice sculptures; personalized, color-coded guest name badges with branded lanyards; event T-shirts for servers; and party favors consisting of branded and packaged cupcakes at the exit and machined aluminum UEB cubes for VIPs. The planning consisted of coordinating the catering, party favors, and an open bar. I was also responsible for staffing the bar and servers; designing and outfitting the exterior and interiors with all-new signage; hiring a photographer and florist; creating an intimate and upscale atmosphere; and sourcing all materials and services.
