Existing reading lights on many business class seats are very hard to install and require to disassemble many parts to replace. For passengers, they are often not intuitive to operate, and can cause fatal injury to passengers during turbulence due to the protruding profile.

To solve these problems, I designed the Vertical Mounted Reading Light with a flat front face which can be quickly installed/replaced. It is also easy to adjust, and most importantly, prevent injuries during extreme flying situations.
