To design a 3 stories modern house by using an existing domino house at Berkeley / Oak land hill, CA.
- This house includes parking garage, kitchen, living space, working space, balconies, bedroom, bathroom and roof top.
- Concept for this project is “ Break down and Open up” this concept is cutting the house’s levels into the horizontal and lift up to the vertical axis by holding and support by existing structure. Each vertical levels lifted up is linked by using the steps and staircases between each level in order to make these spaces more interesting and adding the functional in to the steps such as book shelf’s or seating. This concept enlarges the space and provides the large operable height on each level. In the other hand, this project not only breakdown the levels but showing the open up of each spaces, link all spaces and open these together inside and outside to the entire building.
