The Art of The Flaming Lips (book)
To anyone familiar with rock group The Flaming Lips, their flamboyantly unique aesthetic is synonymous with their name.
I wanted to create a book that highlighted the album artwork of The Flaming Lips. Still producing vinyl versions of each of their records, the LP provides a large canvas to fully showcase their creativity.
I used hand-lettering for the headlines to imitate the vibrant hand-made aesthetic reminiscent of their albums. The spreads highlight some of their most dynamic artwork and celebrate the art of the LP.
