In small flats and houses finding space to hang washing can be difficult. Clothes end up everywhere and clotheshorses take up a lot of the space. The Clothes Shelf is an innovative and space saving solution. Most of the time it is a useful shelf, for books and other items and when it is needed it can be easily transformed into a clotheshorse. When you need to hang your clothes simply take the rods from the shelf and slot into the ridges in the front of the shelf.
You can slot in as many rods as you need and at varying distances apart depending on what you need to hang. Also hangers can be simply hooked on the front of the shelf for shirts. The shelf is made from bamboo plywood, which is a sustainable material as bamboo grows to adult height and can be harvested in 5-6 years. The bamboo plywood is CNC milled in two parts, glued together and fixed to the wall using concealed wall brackets.
