Sir Lancelot - Just an innocent picture of an old trusty dog. This was during my experiment with motion stage, but for one shot he held completely still. I love how an old, lovable dog can have such a noble name as Sir Lancelot. Lancelot is no longer with us, but his humble yet royal legacy live on within this moment in time. One aspect of photography that really strikes a nerve within me is not only its aesthetic quality, but its functionality in capturing time.
Cigarettes - I love the idea of finding beauty in something ugly. The way discarded cigarettes lay in such intricate ways and patterns really intrigued me. The "beautiful ugliness" of these used and thrown away items is what inspired me to capture them. All of my photos are taken with a Canon EOS Rebel K2.

Stream of light - The same applies to this photograph as the previous one. It's from the same set, and same mind set I might add. What do artists do on the way to dinner in the car? They take pictures of lights and blur the line of reality and dreams.
Footprints - Everything leaves it mark on the world, even tire tracks from a car in the mud. I love the rawness of this image. And love discovery that beautiful ugliness in nature. Most people would pass and never thing twice. I walked pass, then walked right back and took about 10 photographs on these tracks. It's the little things that make me happy.
Skin and Bones - I was experimenting with developing two different negatives on one sheet of photo paper. The result ended with the models face lightly burned into a model skeleton for anatomy drawing. I love the haunting and surreal feeling this photo conveys.
Inside out - Once again I experimented with motion blur. I told my model to put on a skull mask, wrap a blanket around her body, and jump on my bed. The result is this picture that almost resembles a soul getting sucked out of someone or something. At least that's what I like to believe in my head.
