I wanted to demonstrate my understanding of the different elements of a complete logo. Not all companies/brands elect to create a full signature, but as a designer, it is important to understand each component nonetheless.
I strongly disliked my work on this logo (and the subsequent "WellBean" file). I think I have a poor selection of colors here and I prefer what I did for the middle of the bean on the previous file (the window vinyl).
I combined a luxurious feel with a nordic-inspired mark and typeface. Vikings used the knarr as a long-distance cargo vessel.
This shows a measurement layer that I created to layout this particular logo. I have always been intrigued by the Fibonacci number sequence and the "golden" spiral. I tried to closely match the sizing and placement of elements to the spiral.
