The inspiration that came with the Fractal Bike Helmet was one that tied closely with the user. Instead of an over engineered helmet with confusing parts, we looked for a way that allowed one to simply fold the helmet in a quick and easy way. The triangular pattern was designed to supply a rigid structure that can also behave like fabric, which allows the helmet much flexibility upon the folded regions.

Liana Kalushner. Together we brought
an innovative and unique design to the
