Basil - Caricature of an actor famous to perform one of the bad guys of the Golden Age of the cinema. He´s recognizable of being the opposite character to Errol Flynn in those classic "swashbuckler films" of the thirties. He is the great Basil Rathbone. Actually, he was an expert swordsman, but almost always he had to lose the fighting since he used to play the evil character. My tribute to the man and the character, in a funny way, of course.

The Ultimatum of Klaatu - This is a tribute to a very old movie, but one of the best sci-fi films of all time. I´m talking about "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951).
Few years before this movie, the modern age of the UFOs (1947) began, so I guess, at that time this film could be absolute amazing and disturbing, the story of an extraterrestrial (even messianic) called Klatu and his giant robot Gort, that comes to the Earth to bring us a message of peace and an ultimatum too!

Dr. Frankenstein - Caricature of an actor who before performing Grand Moff Tarkin (in Star Wars Episode 4) was one of more well known faces of that legendary british film studio Called Hammer Film Productions. It´s the great, elegant, gentle and thin actor Peter Cushing. He starred a lot of terror films from the fifties to seventies being the opposite character to Christopher Lee. Here, I represented him as the Baron Frankenstein working on his evil creation.

John Powell - Caricature of one the finest film composer nowadays, the great musician John Powell. His music is so fresh, original, amusing, effective even powerful and very interesting. He is best known for his scores for a bunch of great animation films (for Blue Sky Studios, Dreamworks, Disney, etc), the Bourne Trilogy and X Men 3 (awesome and fantastic music). I love the movies and several TV shows of all time, and as much as million of viewers around the globe, I´ve experienced a lot of emotion with those stories and the way the actors or actresses have imprinted their presence on the screen, through the time. Precisely, this "presence" has always driven me to represent those people, trying to catch as much as I can "the essence" of the characters performed by them. And I´ve discovered an enjoyable and funny way to do it...the Caricature.
