“Longcat” is an internet meme that started with a single picture of someone holding up their apparently unusually long cat. When the image went viral, people began captioning it (often “Longcat is Long”), creating parody images, making fan art, plushies, scarves, and the like. Today, Longcat is one of the internet community’s most recognizable figures. My “Chinese Dragon-Style” Longcat was made with children’s crawl tubes, PVC pipe, wooden dowls, blanket fabric, and zip ties! The 26-foot-long tribute has been paraded around various conventions in the United States, such as Anime Expo Los Angeles and New York Comic Con. It has also been featured on Cosplay Collector, Funimation Channel, & I Can Has Cheezburger.
