Routine - Year: 2005-06 Medium: inkjet on transparency, wooden clothespins, clothesline In this series I took a picture every day over the course of several months. I focused on things and people from my daily life, which are often taken for granted. I not only wanted to acknowledge them, but I also wanted to display their inherent beauty. Hanging them with clothespins was a way to pay homage to the idea of a routine (laundry) and also the technique of hanging traditional photographic prints to dry.
