As functional manager of a sizable group located worldwide, you’ll need significant experience managing people and team remotely. As we are an independent function with SPS, that means you’ll needs experience with budgets, forecasts/actuals, resource forecasting and annual operations planning type processes.
YOU MUST HAVE
-Minimum of 8 years' experience driving and delivering Physical and Digital design solutions
-Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a team
-Significant aftermarket / post sale, services, or customer support / service experience
-Some marketing / technology experience
-Significant professional experience in developing solutions for products and services
-Demonstrated experience scoping, planning and executing projects in accordance with an iterative development process
-Experience in understanding and synthesizing user needs using a variety of practices
-Experience in design strategy, trends and how they apply to brand and product planning
-Experience in evaluating products using: design trends, heuristic reviews, competitive bench-marking, formative and summative usability studies
-An MBA (with marketing focus preferable) is considered ideal
-Strong business aptitude and interest; understanding and application of basic marketing frameworks
-Experience with the implementation of new business development and marketing initiatives that lead to profitable growth
-Proven track record of successful implementation (on time and on budget) of technology or marketing programs preferred
-Strong problem-solving skills to structure and conduct analysis and to drive robust decisions
-Intellectual curiosity: to learn, to ask questions
-Ability to influence multi functional teams without a direct reporting relationship
-Strong outcome driven focus
