As an Environmental Designer you will contribute to the spatial component of the project, actively participate in design thinking methodology, and support visual communication of concepts. You will work with designers of different backgrounds to create holistic, branded experiences that integrate both physical and digital environments.

An innovative, strategic thinker who is just as comfortable ideating as executing. Passionate about design and able to think conceptually and realistically; owning a project from start to finish.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Concept and design general sessions, installations, exhibits, retail environments, pop-ups, and brand activations (with a stellar portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for design).
Ability to clearly communicate design intent appropriate to each phase of the design process within a project using a variety of skills such as illustration, sketching, diagraming, 3D modeling and rendering.
Collaborate with creative, strategy, and sales leads to determine project approach establish design parameters based on opportunity, time frame and budget.
Develop a genuine understanding of the client’s brand and strategic objectives—and design world-class experiences that clearly communicate the brand and objectives to the audience.
Actively participate in design critiques, studio pin-ups, discovery sessions, and reviews
Respond to input and changes to project parameters by developing alternative designs while maintaining concept continuity.
Adhere to budget and timelines.
Provide a positive contribution to the office culture.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferred candidates will have an undergraduate or graduate degrees in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Exhibit Design, Interior Design, and Industrial Design or have equivalent experience demonstrated by a strong portfolio.
Minimum 3-5 years of professional design experience in applicable areas of space design such as general session and exhibit design.
Expert experience with AutoCad, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp and Adobe CS – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop software.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Hangouts).
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; verbally, in writing and through sketches while presenting concepts and ideas to team members, stakeholders and clients.
Ability to complete task with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.
Must have a strong grasp of basic design principles and techniques in order to perform many tasks.
Must have the ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
Must have experience working to meet project timelines.
