ABOUT THE POSITION
The role of Junior Industrial Designer requires a self-driven creative with a passion for original design and out-of-the-box thinking. This individual will support the Design and Marketing departments through implementation of specified directives pertaining to product modeling/rendering, graphic design, physical conceptual mock-ups, and trade show installations. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Director of Design.
Experience in product design and general manufacturing processes is a must. Knowledge about UX and UI implementation is very nice to have. Regardless of the task, the ability to work effectively with groups and individually, while constructively implementing feedback, is required for success in this role.

Generate computer models and photo realistic renders based on concepts conveyed for products, accessories, and environmental installations.
Create graphics for product manuals, packaging, software applications, etc.
Join in creative discussion to define design direction and cohesion across branding efforts.
Assist in design process to deliver products that accurately represent the Moog brand, exude quality, inspire creativity, and fulfill the varying needs of the marketplace.
Iterate design revisions through the use of sketches, renderings, and prototypes
Brainstorm various design trends inside and outside our specific marketplace
Bachelor’s degree, ideally related to Industrial Design
At least 2 years of professional product design experience
General understanding of various manufacturing processes and related design requirements
Thorough knowledge of design software such as Solidworks, Keyshot, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Physical prototyping capabilities for constructing conceptual mock-ups, including but not limited to 3D printing, foam modelling, working with wood, plastic, etc.
Communicates clearly and professionally
Self-disciplined and able to manage multiple projects at once
Works well under pressure
Able to meet deadlines and shift directions quickly
Displays a highly developed attention to detail
