Shift redefines the traditional vision of a bag used for surfing. When a surfer returns from the water, he is wet, sandy, and eager to put on some clean dry clothes.There are a series of problems he faces in this situation. Not only is it frustrating trying to keep sand from being tracked into the car and onto his clothing, but it's also very challenging to change out of a tight wetsuit while standing barefoot, often on rocks or concrete.
Shift allows the surfer to have a much more enjoyable experience in a few ways. On the back of the bag is a mat that can be placed on the ground for padding and to avoid adding more sand to the surfers feet, wetsuit and clothing while changing. There is also a brush and water bottle to remove sand. Shift also features a compartment for dry clothes and another for the wetsuit in order to keep the wet completely separate from the dry.
