dModel 3D CAD Workstation
Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling is frequently tedious & time-consuming. There is a 2D interface barrier in the mouse (including "3D" mice) & monitor that bottlenecks the translation of a 3D idea into a 3D model. CAD users are creative and understand how things work, yet their workstations are frequently generic desks that fail to take into account their unique requirements & capabilities.
Designed in collaboration with another student, the dModel 3D CAD workstation makes the creation of 3D models a truly 3D process and provides a modular & reconfigurable environment that fulfills CAD users' task requirements.
