The conceptual exercise of modular coffee tables is inspired by the true shapes of the constellations of Orion and Cassiopeia. Those were chosen for their well-known and specific forms. Each corner of the individual segments is engraved with the designation of a specific star.
Under shiny desks are storage spaces.
There is an opportunity to use the shape of other real constellations for this application in the future.
