A Sponge Bob Squarepants foam bank that I designed from concept to finished product. It was always a challenge to mock this baby up and then work on the specifications on it. There is always trial and error with 3D structures but it was worth it!
A foam Race Car kit that I created that really rolls! It comes with a sheet of adhesive foam numbers to personalize it.
The Christmas House 3D foam kit which features Santa Claus and friends.
A Christmas tree craft kit. The tree is a cone shape.
This is a technical file for the Snow Fun scene. After I create the concept, I construct a prototype and mock it up. I usually have to work out how it will look in 3D in my head while I make the mechanicals (specifications). The vendor makes a sample and I see what revisions have to be made. The products start with a concept and I supervise it until the finished version. This includes proofing the packaging to make sure it looks like what it is supposed too.
My Snowman 3D Craft Kit that I designed. :)
Here is a Snowman kit that I designed with a fold out honeycomb for his tummy.

A Toy Story 2 Happy Meal design with Woody's finger pointing action! Originally I wanted a "cap" sound effect like from a cap gun.
A Happy Meal that I designed for Disney's Tarzan. You wind around Tantor's tail and the flywheel inside make him "shiver" to convey his nervous characteristic in the movie.
My Little Brother concept for the Mulan Happy Meal toy.
My original sketch and the final product for the 101 Dalmatians snow globe. The live action Disney movie came out at Christmas time so McDonald's had a large number of toys which also could be used as tree ornaments.
A Scooby Doo turnaround drawing for a Valentine's Day product.

The Fire Truck 3D foam kit with ladders that come off to play with!
I needed something different for a Halloween design and decided on a Bat House. It's similar to a bird house but I thought it's be fun to hang the bat upside down as they are prone to do themselves.
I always had this idea to create a box into a monster. I can sleep a little better now.
These are the instructions that I created for the Monster Box 3D foam kit for the factory to use to make models to be displayed in stores. Models always help the products sell better when the customer can see the finished product in person.

The Pumpkin Deco kit is a mixture of foam, paper, and chenille to create a desired Halloween and Fall style.

A product line that I worked on at Fibre Craft Materials that wasn't made of foam from corrugated cardboard. The idea behind this was to have a character that a consumer could decorate and personalize in various way. It could be used as a school project, personal card, or simple room decoration.

One of the last lines that I worked on Fibre Craft Materials was TEXT-UR foam which included foam structures, shapes, and sheets. The special hook for this item was most of the foam was molded in a textured pattern. Shapes could then be layered on top of each other with thick foam pieces to give it more of a 3D effect.
These were more various decoration examples one could use with the freestanding craft.
A TEXT-UR foam free standing Lion kit that's fun to assemble and that ain't no lion. Sorry, couldn't resist.
An example of the sticker shapes that I designed and engineered. There were a lot of different styles and themes both printed and non printed with an example of how to enhance an object.
A western ringtoss game. I like crafts that have a function after you complete them. I did a series of games for a summer like at Michael's.
A Sponge Bob frame in which I got the idea straight from their styleguide. I even got to include my nephew Sean on the packaging!
SpongeBob ringtoss craft that is a game when completed. The picture frame was added as a combo pack.
I Sponge Bob message board that came with a wipe off marker. Sponge Bob is always fun to work with.
I game idea that I illustrated for the inside of a folder. I'm not a big Turtle's fan but I had a blast drawing them!
My first licensed property that I got to illustrate for. This game was printed on the inside of a folder and pennies were meant to be the game tokens. When interviewed to freelance and this company, I was asked if I like dinosaurs. I mentioned that I had just read Jurassic Park which was the truth. I'm a huge geek and planted 2 homages in the game's copy which refer to Steven Spielberg movies. I doubt many people would get both since one is pretty obscure. You get a free folder if you guess correctly.
